How easy is it to change the front door for advertising changes?
Very easy. The doors pop on and off without tool assistance.
Is it easy for the shopper to open the basket front door?
Yes, the shopper simply lifts it slightly then flips it upward.
How does the cart appeal to the aging population?
It allows them to remain viable and independent by using a stable, ergonomic vehicle to guide them through the store. For starters, it provides maximum security through all types of terrain (snow, curbs, gravel, sand). It also allows them to slide groceries into the basket instead of lifting heavy items up and over the cart.
Who manages the advertising on the cart?
KatieCarts does not manage the advertising. The store has complete control to use in-house personnel or hire an outside media company.
Negotiations are in process with national in-store marketing firms to offer iconic-brand advertising.
What are the color options?
Every order is custom built to your specifications. The store provides KatieCarts the details on custom tinting. For instance, the basket, front door, child seat, divider and basket back panel can all be different colors to provide store-brand representation. The frame can be powder coated to the store’s specifications. The hub on the wheel can be anodized a custom color and the color of the wheel tread can be custom. The entire cart has the ability to be uniquely branded.
Does KatieCarts adhere to safety standards?
KatieCarts conforms to ASTM safety standards including approved seatbelts, safety warnings and instructions.
